Photos appear throughout Binder — as cover images, gallery grids, and standalone Photo Gallery entries.
Cover photos
A cover photo is the single image that represents an entry in the journal list. Events, Recommendations, Location Pins, and Photo Galleries all support a cover photo.
Tap the cover photo slot in the edit form to pick an image from your photo library, Files, or the camera.
Gallery photos
Several entry types support a grid of additional photos alongside the cover: Events, Recommendations, Location Pins, Photo Galleries, and Lists.
On macOS, the gallery grid supports drag-and-drop reordering and hover-to-delete — just drag photos to rearrange, or hover and click the X to remove.
The full-screen viewer
Tap any photo to open the viewer. Swipe to move between photos in the gallery.
How photos are stored
Photos are imported into Binder’s own storage — the app keeps its own copy, independent of your Photos library. This means moving or deleting from Photos doesn’t affect Binder, and your entries stay complete.
Images are automatically downsampled to a reasonable display size to keep the app fast and sync efficient.
