Photo Gallery entries are for sets of photos that belong together — a dinner party, a hike, a day out.

  1. Tap + and choose Photo Gallery.
  2. Pick a cover photo — this represents the gallery in the journal list.
  3. Add additional photos to the gallery grid.
  4. Add a caption.

On macOS, you can drag photos straight from Finder onto the journal list to create a gallery in one step. See Drag and drop.

Gallery photos on other entry types

Several entry types also support gallery photos — Events, Recommendations, Location Pins, and Lists. Use a dedicated Photo Gallery entry when the photos themselves are the point; use gallery photos on another entry type when they support something else.
