Location pins are places worth remembering — a bench with a great view, a shop you want to come back to, the exact spot where something happened.
Creating a pin
- Tap + and choose Location Pin.
- Give the pin a title.
- Pick the location from the map or search for an address.
- Optionally add photos, notes, and a reminder.
Map thumbnail
The detail view shows a map thumbnail centred on the pin. Tap it to open the full map or hand off to the system Maps app for directions.
Place name vs. address
Binder prefers a point-of-interest name (like “Kyoto Imperial Palace”) over a street address when reverse-geocoding a dropped pin, so your pins read naturally instead of as coordinates.

When to use a pin vs. a recommendation
